As a community choir, Los Cantantes del Lago is keenly aware of all the contributions made toward our success; not only by our Music Director, our pianist, and our members, but also from our valued friends in the community who come forward and offer their time and talents.

If you are willing to “roll up your sleeves,” we welcome you. Bring us your ideas! Los Cantantes is a totally volunteer-supported, not-for-profit group, we need your energy and your talents.
We believe we are growing and improving with every performance we give. And we believe we are making our own positive difference in the world: music has the power to motivate, to heal, and to bring us all together.

You would have only to see the faces of our audiences in rural Mexico, when Los Cantantes went into the countryside to touch them with our music. The concerts were unannounced, impromptu, and drew almost everyone in each small town. Those of us without fluency in Spanish communicated with our song, and with our smiles. We believe we left them richer, certainly, they enriched our lives. A warm abrazo from a new friend is wonderful, and there were many.
